Millie Lake, a Bournemouth-based curator, is collaborating with Patch Bournemouth to host a unique pop-up exhibition on 21st March 2025.
We are looking for artwork from creatives based in Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire along the theme of home.
Patch is Bournemouth’s swanky new co-working space located inside the iconic Bobby & Co in the heart of the town centre. The building holds lots of history and its recent rejuvenation is really helping to bring our high street back to life - hurrah!
Patch is now home to some of Bournemouth’s most creative entrepreneurs and business owners, so getting your work into this space is an opportunity not to be missed!
About Patch
With Patch helping its members to ‘work near home’, we wanted to explore what home means to our locals. So, we are looking for artwork submissions along the theme of ‘home’ with a curated selection being showcased at Patch Bournemouth in March 2025.
The theme ‘home’ invites a deep exploration of what home means to you. Work submitted for the exhibition should thoughtfully engage with and interpret this theme, delving into innovative observations and interpretations of the meaning of home.
Home can be a place, a person, an object, a memory. For each and every one of us the word ‘home’ will mean something different, and it is this uniqueness that we want to showcase.
About the exhibition theme
We are accepting 2D, 3D and digital art submissions from people aged 18 and over residing in Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire.
We like to keep people on their toes so please note that no artwork can be hung on the walls! Make sure you consider this when thinking about your submission. There is a projector and screen already installed in the space for video entries.
To submit your artwork, simply fill out the form below. Submissions will close at midnight on Sunday 16 February. It’s completely free to submit, so what are you waiting for?!
