Alesha Shukor is in her second year of studying BA (Hons) Illustration at Arts University Bournemouth. With the objective of exploring the world through art and bringing ideas to life one creative idea at a time, she is currently furthering her practice by deepening her understanding of the world of Augmented Reality and Concept Design.

Sanctuary in Solitude captures the intimate, peaceful atmosphere of a cosy work space – a quiet sanctuary where creativity and reflection come to life. The soft glow of ambient light, the scattered books, and the humble presence of personal objects invite the viewer into a moment of calm introspection. Evoking a sense of warmth and comfort, the ordinary desk is transformed into a symbol of home where time slows and the outside world fades away. Through rich textures and a serene colour palette, the work celebrates the beauty of small, everyday moments and the profound comfort found in the spaces we create around us.
