Isobel Kantaris is a recent graduate of BA (Hons) Performance Design and Film Costume at Arts University Bournemouth. She is fascinated by the power of costumes and props to give life to a character’s story.

Originally from St. Ives, Isobel grew up immersed in art and theatre, experiences that deeply influenced her creative path. For her, artistic expression is a way of translating imagination into tangible forms that can be shared and experienced by others.

With a diverse portfolio spanning set design for Glastonbury Festival to costume and prop design for stage, Isobel brings a hands-on approach to her work. 3D making is central to her practice, whether through scale model-making, draping, or intricate prop creation.

It reflects on both the metaphorical spaces within our minds and the physical, derelict places we leave behind - homes and environments once inhabited, now suspended between past and present.
