Mia enjoys partaking in life drawing and observational studies, as well as working from her imagination. She often imagines spacey, sci-fi worlds, and uses her art and photography to share her life stories.

Flower pickings was created when Mia returned to her family home, welcomed with new flowers. With all her belongings in Bournemouth, the flowers made her empty bedroom feel homely and warm.
Creating work inspired by her surroundings, things that happen in her day-to-day life, and the photographs she takes, Mia always feels a pull to draw the flowers that brighten her home.
