Tina Peacock is a Dorset-based, self-taught visual artist working from her studio near Wimborne. Originally from Falmouth, Cornwall, she has lived in Dorset for 25 years. Inspired by the landscapes of both regions, she explores the connection between place, memory, and human relationships.

Through abstraction, Tina translates geological processes, like seaside weathering and landslides, into layered compositions of paint, ink, and dry media. Using brushes, found objects, her hands, or a squeegee, she captures the energy and rhythm of fleeting moments, much like an electrocardiogram.

Painting from a “feeling space”' she investigates the psychological atmosphere we inhabit, translating emotional responses into physical marks on canvas. Her work reflects the shifting dynamics of human connections—the fragile threads that bind us, the sense of safety we rely on, and the inevitable erosion that time brings.

Give Me Your Memories and I'll Hold Them For You explores memory, grief, and the complexities of human relationships; a reflection on life, love, and the natural world. Balancing light and darkness, layers of colour and monochrome mirror the way memories build over time.

Losing both her parents before her mid-forties, and witnessing her mum’s battle with vascular dementia, deeply shaped Tina’s work. This painting revisits childhood summers on Gylly Beach in Falmouth, a place that will always feel like home. Relationships are either strengthened or weakened based on memories we hold.

Home is where the heart is. Home is only home if we remember it.
